Korean Fans give catering to Lee Jong Suk

The catering meal, with snacks and souvenirs on the sidelines, was offered by the heartthrob’s Korean fan club “With J.S” and the Chinese fan clubs “Jong-suk Baragi” and “Lee Jong-suk Ba,” SBS stated.

The outdoor buffet, including sumptuous items such as roasted lobster, abalone and steak, reportedly surprised the filming staff. While free meal treats are not totally new to filming staff, since actors sometimes order surprise treats, “a treat of this level is the first of its kind,” SBS stated, citing one of the crew members.

The souvenir gifts included group T-shirts, fans, exterior smartphone batteries, vitamin drinks, socks, 500 won coins and fake lottery tickets with creative ideas.

The actor briefly met with the fans in appreciation of the surprise gift.

One of the filming staff said, “It was impressive to see the actor and the fans have a friendly chat at the filming site. And thanks to the generous meal, the actors and staff members could work in better conditions despite the tough evening filming schedule.”

“Doctor Stranger” is a romantic medical drama starring Lee Jong-suk as Park Hoon, who was kidnapped and brought to North Korea with his medical guru father and flees to the South after losing his father and one-and-only girlfriend Song Jae-hee, played by Jin Se-yeon.

The show is aired every Monday and Tuesday evening at 10 p.m.
