However, receiving the script for “Pinocchio” and working hard to becomeChoi Dal Po helped him overcome the slump naturally.
When asked what his plans for 2015 were, he answered that it was to find “happiness.” He added, “It is undecided whether I will take a break and re-energize, or chose another project. Maybe I keep working because I’m not living joyfully enough. Anyways, my goal for 2015 is to find out what ‘happiness’ is.”

Park Shin Hye Talks about Lee Jong Suk and Her Favorite Kiss Scene in Pinocchio

Park Shin Hye has been keeping a busy schedule with fan meetings and various interviews after her drama “Pinocchio” successfully ended. In an interview, she shared her thoughts on the drama and her co-actor Lee Jong Suk.
When asked how acting in “Pinocchio” was, she answered, “Every moment in ‘Pinocchio’ was great. How Choi In Ha (her character in “Pinocchio”) grew up, her love story with Dal Po (Lee Jong Suk’s character), and her family’s story were all good, and all the events happened in the drama were fun. In the beginning though, it was tiring having to pour out my emotions. It wasn’t that I was unhappy, but because I had to be so emotional, I felt weak. But because I was able to overcome the exhaustion eventually, I became energized for my next project.”
When asked which kiss scene was most memorable to her in “Pinocchio,” she answered, “Personally, the kiss scene before the break-up sticks with me the most. It was an intense moment. It’d be a lie to say I never dated in my life. So I’d have to say that [the scene] made me feel like I was really breaking up with someone. I was so into In Ha’s emotions that it broke my heart. Even after I heard ‘Cut’ [from the director], I even thought, ‘What is wrong with me?’ I cried so much that time.”

She also shared her thoughts on co-star Lee Jong Suk. When asked what she will remember Lee Jong Suk as, she replied, “Although he seems a bit weird on the outside, he is a very thoughtful person. I sometimes look at him like a proud Mom, but I also see him as a friend or an oppa. Our chemistry during the acting was good. He is hard to define in one word.”
Park Shin Hye ended the interview saying, “For me, ’Pinocchio’ is like a drama that hasn’t ended. What In Ha went through it the drama is similar to what I’m going through now.” She also added, “I hope this interview with me becomes something one has to read, and something one wants to read. Rather than impact, it’s about fact! This was MSC’s Choi In Ha.”

Min reveals why he wears a headband in ‘Pinocchio’

image

Korean actor Min Sung-wook has revealed why he wears such strange clothes on SBS’ drama “Pinocchio.”

In the drama, the actor plays TV reporter Jang Hyun-kyu. The character always wears a headband and awkwardly mix-matches outfits -- pairing a formal suit jacket with gym pants and fur boots, for example.

“My bizarre look was not intended funny looking for viewers. I just tried to show the actual life of reporters,” the 35-year-old actor said.

According to him, his look was carefully set by the drama’s writer Park Hye-ryun, based on her observations of what reporters wear.

“To create trust in viewers, TV reporters are recommended to reveal their faces, rather than covering up their brows with their fringe,” an official from his agency explained.

“As they have to show a neat look to viewers, I heard that they only dress up their tops where the camera angle focuses. However, they usually wear casual bottoms to deal with the activity they need to do to cover the news,” he added.

Hairstyle key to Lee Jong-suk’s romantic charms

Korean actor Lee Jong-suk, who plays Choi Dal-po in SBS drama “Pinocchio,” is one of the best examples to show the striking importance of hairstyle for men.

(SBS)

(SBS)
In the drama’s early episodes, the actor wore a rustic and shaggy hairdo to act an unsophisticated teenager Dal-po who was brought up in the rural area. The hairstyle definitely helped to establish his innocent country boy character for the drama, yet made the heartthrob’s handsome figure unnoticeable.

However in the fourth episode, Lee, who became a TV reporter, shed his ugly hairdo and turned into an urban burnout in a romantic and natural hairstyle. His hairdo turned neat and sophisticated, dyed with the trendiest khaki-brown.

“To highlight the character’s intellectual and soft images in the drama, I put some variations to the classical middle part hairstyle, adding more natural taste to it,” Lee’s hair dresser explained about his changed hairdo.

“When blow-drying Lee’s hair, I crumple his hair with my hands to give a slight messy-looking texture and waves to the hair,” added the beauty stylist.

“But the waves can easily come loose and become undone, unless you have natural permed curls. So, don’t forget to put some hair styling products after you blow-dry your hair.”
