Lee Jong-suk’s Japanese Fan Meeting Party Tickets Sold Out in 3 Minutes
Top hallyu star Lee Jong-suk proved his popularity in Japan, following China.
The tickets for the fan meeting party entitled ‘2015 Lee Jong-suk Fan Meeting in Japan’ which will be held on May 24 at Laforet Museum in Roppongi, Japan, were completely sold out just within three minutes of going on sale.
“The Japanese fan meeting party is expected to be held in approximately three years. While it was originally planned to be a one-time event, we decided to add one more show thanks to explosive interest from fans. All tickets for the two shows were completely sold out, and we are still getting a flood of requests for an additional show,” said an insider from his management.
The advance tickets were almost immediately sold out as soon as a website for reservations opened ticket sales. High-priced scalping tickets are alleged to be sold at the moment, costing almost 10 times the original price.
Meanwhile, thanks to the boom, people in the entertainment field in Korea and Japan are hoping that the hallyu business sectors will revive again with the rise of Lee Jong-suk in Japan. “With his good looks and impressive performance, these are great demands on him at the moment in the Japanese market. A lot of people are keeping an eye on the upcoming event,” said an insider of the Japanese entertainment industry.
Lee Jong-suk has been holding his ‘Lee Jong-suk’s Asian Tour’ in Seoul, Beijing, Bangkok, Guangzhou, Taiwan, and Shanghai. The tour will come to a full stop on May 30 in Hong Kong.

Gu Ha-ra wants to costar with Lee Jong-suk

K-pop singer Gu Ha-ra features in an extensive fashion shoot and interview with a Korean entertainment news website, in which she showed an interest in acting 
When asked what kind of acting project should would like to try, the singer said, “I’ve thought about acting in a cunning but outwardly innocent role,” like the role actress Jun Ji-hyun played in the hit drama series “My Love from the Star.”

Gu said that she could like to costar with Lee Jong-suk, who is known for his lead roles in romantic comedies.

The 24-year-old singer is preparing to release her solo album in July, while girl group KARA, of which she is a member, will release their next Japanese album “Summergic” next month.

Moreover, seasoned actor Lee Kyung-young and singer Jo Kwanwoo released a music video entitled ‘Floating Lamp’ to commemorate the deceased. The music video has become in the center of attention upon the release as it was produced by Lee Kyung-young. ‘Floating Lamp’ was made by many celebrities and artists in Korea as a talent donation. The video features South Korean contemporary dancer Poppin’ Hyun Joon’s dance of condolence.

Lee Jong Suk Sends a Birthday Message and Flowers to Sewol Ferry Victim

Doing what he could do to provide comfort, Lee Jong Suk sent a birthday present to a Sewol ferry victim.

Danwon high school student, Kwon Ji Hye, who lost her life on the Sewol ferry on April 16, 2014, was sent a birthday message and flowers from Lee Jong Suk in time for her 19th birthday. 
Kwon Ji Hye′s family shared to an acquaintance that Kwon Ji Hye was a fan of Lee Jong Suk. The acquaintance relayed the message to Lee Jong Suk′s company and asked for a signature to put in the vault where her ashes are kept.

Fulfilling the request and sending her a basket of yellow and white flowers, Lee Jong Suk wrote, “Dear Ji Hye, I sincerely wish you a happy 19th birthday. You, who′s as beautiful as flowers, I hope it′s always spring where you are.”

April 16 marks one year since the Sewol tragedy, which took the lives of hundreds of people, happened in 2014.

Lee Jong-suk gets lovely cakes from Peruvian fans

 
“Pinocchio” actor Lee Jong-suk received decorative cakes from fans in Peru, congratulating him on his fifth anniversary since his acting debut.

The Korean actor shared photos Wednesday on Instagram of specially crafted cakes sent from Peru.

One had a figurine of the actor and a Peruvian flag and was decorated with “5th Anniversary, Lee Jong-suk.”

“I think I received more congratulations (this anniversary) than on my birthday,” wrote Lee in the photo caption. The actor, 25, thanked fans, while apologizing for not paying more attention to them.

“I will work hard … I will act even better,” wrote Lee.

Lee, who recently starred in hit drama series “Pinocchio” opposite actress Park Shin-hye, concluded his Shanghai fan meeting Monday, which was watched by some 80,000 viewers on live television.

Lee Jong-suk celebrates 5th anniversary


South Korea actor Lee Jong-suk posted his photo on Instagram Tuesday to celebrate the fifth anniversary of his acting debut.

“Thank you!!!!I love you!!!!!” the model-turned-actor wrote.

Lee, 25, most recently starred in the SBS drama “Pinocchio,” where he took the lead role as a rookie journalist along with actress Park Shin-hye.
