Actor Lee Jong-suk, in his first work for tapping Chinese market, turns into a childe in the 1930s.
Chinese TV series “Jade Lover” released the hero, Lee Jong-suk’s photos on set for the first time, to attract the line of sight. Photos of Lee Jong-suk in suit caught the heart of female fans.
Showing off his forehead in comb over hairstyle, Lee Jong-suk, permeating with fresh, efficient and manly breath, interprets perfect gentleman style in a grey suit with a dark blue tie. Lee Jong-suk turns into Adonis when he lets his fringe down and wears a white shirt with a black tie, making his flawless fair skin stand out.
Lee Jong-suk has started tapping Chinese market with “Jade Lover”, of which the production cost reaches 40 billion won. He is currently being filmed in China. The fantasy love drama, “Jade lover” is set in the 1930s. Lee Jong-suk, the hero, BaiLuohan, will develop a love relationship with the heroine on set, acted by young Chinese actress Zheng Shuang. This drama is published by DMG group, who participated in Hollywood blockbuster “Avatar 3”, “Iron Man” etc. It is expected to be on air this summer through China Tencent, iQIYIbroadcast and etc. “

Lee Jong Suk models for Burberry Korea!

Award winning actor turned model, Lee Jong-Suk has been seem modelling some stylish and classic looks forBurberry Korea! The previews of shots to come were revealed by his PR agency Ticktalk Tuesday. This isn’t the first time the actor has been around the brand however, as he attended the Burberry menswear event that was held in London this past January.

The behind the scenes shots revealed are for an upcoming special promotion with Burberry, “Art of the Trench Seoul”. As we can see, Lee is sporting the timeless trench made popular by the company. The rest of the look is quite streamlined, and with muted darker colours- keeping all of the focus on the perfectly-fitted trench coat.

Aside from modelling, the actor is currently working on a brand new mega-budget Korean-Chinese drama. The series will be a fantasy romance genre, set to be called “Jade Lover” and filming for the new series has been taking place in Shanghai and Hengdian in China; so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for his newest projects!

Lee Jong-suk and Kim Woo-bin to compete on TV

Actors Lee Jong-suk and Kim Woo-bin are competing this summer.

Lee Jong-suk is coming back with the new MBC drama “W” and it’s been a year since he starred in the SBS drama “Pinocchio”.

“W” depicts a man and a woman who live in the same Seoul but in different environments. It is a mysterious melodrama about a parallel universe.Han Hyo-joo is cast as the female lead and the drama is written bySong Jae-jeong who also wrote other time-slip dramas such as “Nine: Time Travelling Nine Times” and “Queen In-hyun’s Man”.

Previously, Kim Woo-bin confirmed to be in the new KBS 2TV drama “Uncontrollably Fond”. A man and woman who parted as kids reunite as a top star and a documentary director. Kim Woo-bin takes on the role of the top star Sin Joon-yeong and Suzy plays the director No-eul.

“Uncontrollably Fond” starts first but it will overlap with “W” in July and August. There are many things to look out for and some of them areSuzy and star writers Song Jae-jeong and Lee Kyeong-hee. It is also the competition betweenLee Jong-suk and Kim Woo-bin who co-starred in the 2012 KBS drama “School 2013”.

Han Hyo-joo, Lee Jong-seok confirm new MBC melodrama W

Remember this? I’m sure you do, since it’s the new drama that’s been courting Lee Jong-seok (Pinocchio, Doctor Stranger) and Han Hyo-joo (Love, Lies, Beauty Inside) to headline. The new drama, called W, now has confirmations from both stars and a green light for a broadcast this summer on MBC.

The new project is a pretty exciting mix of cast and crew, since it comes from writer Song Jae-jung of Nine and Queen In-hyun’s Man, and PD Jung Jae-yoon of the hit com-com She Was Pretty. They’re still being very tight-lipped about the story, so all we know so far is that it’ll be a 16-episode “romantic suspense melodrama” about a thirtysomething man and woman. Heck, I don’t even know if the title is Double You or W.

Han Hyo-joo hasn’t done a television series since 2010’s Dong Yi, and has had a number of successes in film that have kept her busy since. She’s really grown on me in the last few years, and I especially loved her in her recent movie Beauty Inside. Lee Jong-seok doing a new drama is far more common an occurrence around these parts, but I’m excited for the team-up since I think they’ll make a good pair, and they’ll be working with a strong writer who will actually deliver on the romance and the suspense.

Shoots are scheduled to begin in May, and W is slated to follow Lucky Romance on Wednesdays and Thursdays beginning in July.
