The results are in for the 51st Baeksang Arts Awards popularity vote! After a month of voting,Lee Min Ho, Park Shin Hye, Lee Jong Suk, andKrystal were voted as the most popular in their respective categories. The popularity awards are the only fan-driven category at the Baeksang Arts Awards and rely on online voting to determine the winners.
Lee Min Ho and Park Shin Hye both took an early lead in the movie actor and actress categories and were able to hold onto the crown until the end. Lee Min Ho (Gangnam Blues) finished with almost 56% of the vote, and Park Shin Hye (The Royal Tailor) completely dominated with 100% of the vote.
Lee Jong Suk and D.O (It’s Okay, That’s Love) were very close in the TV actor category, but Lee Jong Suk (Pinocchio) pulled ahead in the end. Krystal (My Lovable Girl) also secured the TV actress category with ease, winning 97% of the vote.
Unfortunately, Lee Jong Suk could not attend the award ceremony held on May 26. However, we did get to see a mini Heirs reunion instead!
Lee Jong-suk successfully ended his fan meeting entitled <2015 LEE JONG SUK FANMEETING – A Special day> at Laforest Museum in Roppongi on May 24. Tickets for the fan meeting went sold out in three minutes of its release and two additional concert dates were added due to fans’ fervent requests.
The actor visited Japan in order to keep the promise he made with Japanese fans a year ago, and made eye contacts with 200 fans who gathered to see him at Hadena Airport.
He is getting much popularity in Japan with his previous hits such as <I Can Hear Your Voice>, <Dr. Stranger>, <Secret Garden> and his current drama <Pinocchio> broadcasts on CS Satellite Network Channel in Japan. His film <No Breathing> premiered in February and received positive reviews.
On May 24, fans flocked to the venue four hours prior to the show. The fan meeting goods were all sold-out even before the fan meeting proving his raising popularity.
When the concert began, Lee Jong-suk appeared on stage and greeted fans in Japanese to express his sincerity. Although his speech was not flawless, his truthfulness touched fans’ heart. Lee Jong-suk’s frankness captivated fans in Japan. Fans prepared a surprise video for him, and after watching it, Lee Jong-suk paused for a moment and said, “It..was really great” and impressed fans.
His fan service heated up Tokyo. He prepared gifts for fans and had a photo time. He did high-fives with all of the fans who waited a long-time to see him.
Lee Jong-suk said, “It feels great to be in Japan after a long time. I finished the two concerts without knowing how my day has passed by. It was a wonderful day. Although I feel little sad right now, I’ll be back with even better works. Thank you.”
Meanwhile, Lee Jong-suk’s last tour will be held at Hong Kong Asia International Exhibition Hall #11 on May 30. This will end his Asian tour which continued from Seoul to Beijing, Thailand, Taiwan, Guangzhou and Shanghai.
After School’s Nana recently took part in a refreshing pictorial and interview for magazine ONE.
During the interview, Nana was asked what she thinks is her biggest charm. In response to the question, she coolly shared, “My androgynous mask (face).”
The After School member continued to explain, “I hear very often that I look like actor Lee Jong Suk. I think it’ll be fun to act together as siblings. There’s the saying that people in love begin to resemble one another, so it might also be okay to try acting as romantic partners.”
When asked how she feels about going into her sixth year since debuting, Nana expressed, “I’m thankful that I’ve been able to promote consistently without any trouble. I will continue to work hard in order to fill the areas I lack in the future.”

His fan meeting party, entitled ‘2015 LEE JONG SUK FANMEETING_A Special day’ was held on Sunday, May 24 at Laforet Museum in Roppongi, Japan.
The event was held in three years in Japan. The tickets were sold out just within three minutes of going on sale. This was Lee Jong-suk’s reunion with his Japanese fans in good three years; and while it was originally planned to be a one-time event, an additional show was added due to explosive interest and a flood of requests from fans. When Lee Jong-suk stepped on the stage, more than 200 fans cried in joy, welcoming the star who visited Japan after a long time. He greeted his fans by making eye contact with each one of them, expressing his gratitude.
Lee Jong-suk has become a popular Korean celebrity in Japan with his various works such as ‘I Hear Your Voice’, ‘Doctor Stranger’ and ‘Secret Garden’. Also, his latest work ‘Pinocchio’ has been on air on CS channel since April. Upcoming film ‘Hot Young Bloods’ in which he starred with actress Park Bo-young is scheduled to release in August.
On the day of the event, fans were spotted at the venue four hours before the fan meeting, waiting for their Korean prince to arrive.
Lee Jong-suk is well known for generous fan service and huge love for his fans. On this day, he prepared a special gift, had a photo section with each one of the audience and sang a sweet ballad, moving everyone’s heart.
“It’s great to be back,” said Lee Jong-suk. “It’s been a long time. I had two shows tonight and everything just went in a flash. It was awesome to meet my fans today. I wish they all had an unforgettable time. Thank you so much,” said the super hallyu star.
Meanwhile, Lee Jong-suk is going to attend the last fan meeting show in Hong Kong. Entitled ‘2015 LEE JONG SUK FANMEETING in Hong Kong’, it will be held on Saturday, May 30 at Asia-International Convention & Exhibition Hall, and Lee jong-suk’s Asian Tour will come to a great finale.

In a recent photo shoot with fashion magazine,Allure Korea, Lee Jong Suk traveled to the tropical islands of Hawaii to capture gorgeous photos for the June issue.
During the interview, Lee Jong Suk shared, “When I’m filming, yes, it is very hard, but when I watch the broadcast, there’s this strange, refreshing feeling. The life of Lee Jong Suk is quite boring, but I spend a very meaningful day becoming a drama character that isn′t me. I think I find vicarious satisfaction in that.”
“One of the reasons why the resting period of an actor gets longer is because there’s a big fear that we’ll lose something that we have in the present. But as you start comparing this and that, the time that passes by disappears. If it’s like that, I think it’s better to just have my present self be shown in projects.”
On the goal of an actor, Lee Jong Suk answered, “I would like people to think ‘That person, he’s an actor, right?’ when someone says my name. There are actors like that. For the sole reason that the person is in a project, you just want to watch it. I want to be that kind of actor. And I always tell my fans, ‘I won’t cause an accident.’”

Pinocchio actor Lee Jong Suk traveled to beautiful Hawaii for the June issue of Allure. In the pictorial, the handsome star lounged on the beach sand, took a surfboard for a walk, enjoyed ice cream under the hot sun and appreciated the wonderful views by a luxurious hotel pool.
His tropical wardrobe included floral tops, sensible Dr. Marten’s sandals, and colorful Oakley sunglasses, to name a few items.
During the accompanying interview, Lee revealed why he’s hooked on acting. He stated, “Lee Jong Suk’s life is on the boring side, but I turn into somebody else for the characters in the productions, so I get to spend a very meaningful day. I think when I see that, I feel very satisfied.”
He also shared the goals he hopes to accomplish throughout his professional career. He explained, “I would like it if when someone hears my name, they’d say, ‘That person, he’s an actor.’ You know there are those actors whose movies you want to watch no matter what, just because they’re in it. I’d like to be that type of actor. And I also tell my fans, 'I’ll stay out of trouble.’”

“It is so ironical; acting is so hard, it just kills me. But then when I see the outcome, there is this catharsis that I feel inside me. There is nothing special about me; the life of Lee Jong-suk is dull and boring. However, the life of a role can be so exciting and dynamic; I think that is how I get vicarious satisfaction from acting,” Lee Jong-suk explained what acting means to him.
To the question asking what he wants to achieve as an actor, he replied, “There will be nothing more I could wish for if people thought of me as an actor when they heard my name. I wish I could be an actor whom the public can rely on. I want to make everyone think that any film or drama I starred in must be worth watching. That’s why I always promise my fans that I will not make any trouble.” The wise actor proved he has a long, bright future ahead of him.

The advance tickets to the party were sold out just three minutes after the website for reservations started ticket sales. He will then hold another fan meeting party in Hon g Kong on May 30.

A publicity photo for the TV drama series “Divorce Lawyers in Love.” (SBS) Actor Lee Jong-suk praised the current Korean TV drama series “Divorce Lawyer in Love” Tuesday, which he said was “fun” to watch.
“Divorce Lawyer in Love” follows the lives of divorce attorneys working in Korea, which is seeing rising national rates of divorce. The series kicked off on April 18 and airs every Saturday and Sunday at 10 p.m.
Lee said the TV drama was the first series he has been faithfully following in a long time.
“Don’t fall too much in love with the (talented) actors, or else I’ll be jealous,” said Lee on Instagram.
Lee also asked for recommendations for good TV dramas online.
The 25-year-old actor most recently starred in TV drama “Pinocchio,” which concluded in January, opposite actress Park Shin-hye.
Park Shin-hye and Lee Jong-suk, the couple at the center of the popular “Pinocchio” TV series, met at the Chanel fashion show in Seoul on Monday.
Both actors wore Chanel for the event, with Park wearing a dark gray tweed dress and Lee sporting a large beige and gray jacket.
The actors were seen chatting with each other after the show.
Park and Lee starred as an onscreen couple in the 2014-2015 romantic series “Pinocchio.” The two have since met up for joint commercial and promotional engagements.

A rep of his agency stated, “Since it is the first concert in three years, many fans flocked to get the tickets which went above our expectations. So, we urgently decided to add one additional dates to his concert. Thankfully, the additional concert date also went sold out as soon as it went on sales and we are still getting many calls from fans”
In early April, the first and second round of tickets went immediately sold out as soon as they were released. It has been reported that there are scalping tickets which is ten times higher than its original price.
An affiliated personnel in Japan stated, “Lee Jong-suk is getting even more popular with his innocent looks and acting skills. The demands for Lee Jong-suk’s films and dramas have increased rapidly in Japan. Japanese officials are paying much attention to his upcoming fan meeting to connect him and Japan.
Lee Jong-suk’s fan meeting will be held on May 24 at 1pm, and 5pm.
Meanwhile, the actor held Asia tour in Seoul, Beijing, Thailand, Gwangzhou, Taiwan and Shanghai and the last tour will be held in Hong Kong on May 30.
