Kim Woo Bin Says Park Shin Hye And Lee Jong Suk Look Good Together

When "Pinocchio" was first being cast, Kim Woo Bin was offered the leading role. The role would have given him another chance for an onscreen romance with his "The Heirs" co-star Park Shin Hye. But his schedule did not permit it. Still, he thinks it turned out for the best. He thinks that Lee Jong Suk, his "School 2013" co-star, and Park Shin Hye make a great k-drama couple.

He recently commented on how good looking they were.

"They suit each other very well and they're beautiful to look at," he said, according to Soompi. "I've worked with the two of them before for a commercial shoot and it seems like their good chemistry is continuing on."
Enjoying their chemistry is not the only reason he watches "Pinocchio." He's also close to Kim Yu Bi, his co-star in the film "Twenty" and he's friendly with Kim Young Kwang who is represented by the same agency.
Kim Woo Bin might have had a second chance to woo Park Shin Hye on screen after trying hard to win her from Lee Min Ho in "The Heirs." But he had two films to shoot.
He plays a safecracker in the heist film "The Technicians," also known as The Con Artists." In the film "Twenty," he plays a girl-crazed young man.
He did not quite learn how to crack a safe for his role in "The Technicians" but he did prepare at least 10 different reactions in every scene. That's not an unusual amount of preparation for him. It's what he was taught to do.
"I was taught from the beginning that I needed to prepare at least 10 different reactions for the same line to ensure the best fit with the actors I work with on set," he said in a recent interview with Korea's JoongAng Ilbo.
He stressed that it was important to use basic techniques because he says he is not inherently talented.
"The more time passes, the more I'm assured of this," he says.
He considers himself lucky to have landed appealing roles playing likable rebels and that earned him attention in the acting industry.
And yet despite his doubts about his own acting ability he looks quite confident on screen.
"I think I feel a bit more comfortable in front of the camera than before," he said. "Being on set is exciting. When I first started acting I was very nervous and wanted to get the okay sign. But now, those worries are gone and I just want to be really good."
He's not sure what kind of roles he wants to play in the future. He's just certain they should stir his emotions.
"In my next movie 'Twenty,' I act as a very ordinary man in his 20s. I just want to take on characters that move my heart at the time."
But if another chance to act with Park Shin Hye comes up, he will consider it.
